M-Bar-C Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of groups/organizations do we serve?
The M-Bar-C is evolving on a daily basis. We have historically served groups of individuals with a common affiliation or affliction. However, with the influx of a new group of volunteers we are able to customize programs to suit smaller groups and even individuals. Please contact our office at 360-331-6019 to discuss your particular situation. Every child is important to us and we will do our best to assist them all.

What does the M-Bar-C Ranch Experience Program cost?
There is no cost to the participating groups and children once they have reached the ranch. Transportation is the responsibility of the group. Groups are not allowed to charge their participants for the visit to the ranch other than transportation reimbursement.

What can a group expect for their day at the ranch?
A typical day at the ranch begins upon the arrival of our special visitors, generally around 10:00 am. After a brief orientation about horses and ranch rules everyone is invited to ride horses, pet the animals and explore the ranch. Lunch is served at approximately noon. Most groups depart about 2:00 pm. However, there is no set schedule. Individual programs will be addressed according to specific needs.

How do I get involved?
Anyone with a kind heart and a willingness to help can become involved. Volunteers perform all duties at the ranch from greeting to costume shop to clean up and horse care. Please contact 360-331-6019 or e-mail us for more information. Donations of money or materials are always welcome.

Are my donations deductible?
The Forgotten Children's Fund as the parent of the M-Bar-C Ranch is a fully tax deductible non profit corporation registration number 91-1009445 501 (c) 3
